A home Inspection is not:
- An insurance policy, warranty, or guarantee on the home
- An invasive or destructive investigation
- Intended to find concealed issues or defects
- An environmental evaluation or energy audit
The purpose of our home inspection is to identify visible safety issues and any visible deficiencies in the 7 major systems of the home:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Roofing
- HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning)
- Foundation & structure
- Exterior & interior
- Insulation
We also use moisture meters to potentially detect moisture and insulation issues you can’t see with the naked eye.
We adhere to the residential standards of practice of CanNACHI - Canada's Commercial and Home Inspector Association. The Standards of Practice are a set of guidelines for home inspectors to follow in the performance of their inspections.
The Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics are recognized by many related professionals as the definitive standard for professional performance in the industry.

Whether you are buying or selling a condo or townhouse, we are here to help you identify potential problems with the property.
The cost of a condo or townhome inspection is insignificant relative to the value of the home being inspected. Hiring a Certified Professional Inspector® is the best way to ensure that the home you are purchasing is properly inspected.
The typical condo or townhouse inspection takes 2-3 hours. Using a range of investigative tools we will visually inspect the interior of the dwelling from top to bottom, including:
- General safety and security of the unit
- All rooms in the interior living unit
- Exterior of the unit walls, siding, trim, windows, doors
- In suite vents and ventilation
- In suite fireplaces
- The unit's walkways, patios, decks and balconies
- In suite water piping & valves, gas piping & valves
- In suite sinks, toilets, tubs, showers
- In suite heating systems, cooling systems, air filters
- In suite electrical panels, visible wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans
We also use moisture meters to potentially detect moisture and insulation issues you can’t see with the naked eye.
